We do not purchase expensive elaborate containers or packaging. It’s what is in the jar/bottle that matters.

We don't spend money on expensive commercials, celebrity endorsements, distribution via department stores, franchises, or big commission payouts.

What is the shelf life of the products?

Question 3

You teach how two different cleansers may be needed for the same person. Why?

Accepted Answer

You cleanse your face twice a day (you should). If you have mature skin with some dryness, but at the end of the day need a boost of cleaner skin (the removal of the day's debris. Your morning cleanser would be the Moisturizing Milk Cleanser and your evening cleanser would be the Soothing Daily Cleanser.

If you have mature skin skin with some oiliness and occasional breakouts (adult acne), you would use the Soothing Daily Cleanser in the morning and the Detoxifying Charcoal Cleanser at night.

You are not using more products because you are only using each product once daily.

Do you include free samples?

Yes. On certain products we will be happy to include free samples. At checkout, in the Notes, please give as much detailed information about your skin. The type, concerns, goal or problems.

How should the products be stored?

Accepted Answer

At room temperature. Nothing above 70 degrees is best. And the products like it cool. They can be stored in your refrigerator. When you take them put, return them to room temperature before using. During the hot summer months if your product arrives and the consistency is off, for example thin, most common in moisturizers, just place in your refrigerator for 24 hours. This does not affect the quality of the product.

How can I tell if my skin is dry or dehydrated?

Dry skin is not producing enough oil. Natural oil production protects our skin from aging/wrinkles and environmental damage. Dry skin tends to be more sensitive due to lack of lipids causing an unhealthy barrier function and acid mantle. Dehydrated skin can be caused by both topical and internal. Topical dehydration can look crepey and feel tight and dry and lead to premature aging and wrinkles appear deeper. Both need proper moisture and hydration.

Why are antioxidant ingredients so important?

They protect the tissues and collagen health of your skin by fighting off free radicals found in pollutants and the sun. Healthy skin is balanced, bright and glowing. You need to incorporate topical antioxidants into your skin care regimen.
